Historic Downtown Laurinburg hosts an array of events throughout the year. Each spring, local school children and their families come downtown to experience the Children's Art Festival. Christmas on Main and the Christmas Tree Lighting bring families back out to for the start of the holiday season in the fall. Smaller events are scheduled by Laurinburg Downtown Revitalization Corporation and the stores.
Laurinburg Downtown Revitalization Corporation (LDRC) and local realtors are able to work with you to find space for your business. LDRC is also pleased to offer incentives to new and existing downtown businesses and property owners.
A matching grant program for facade improvements is currently accepting applications. A revolving loan fund focusing on downtown businesses is being developed and should be available shortly.
